LTT Summer Hike Raises over €5000 for Charity Féileacáin

On 16 May 2025, the Limerick Twenty Thirty team traded office chairs for hiking boots and took on the 12 O’Clock Hills in Sixmilebridge, County Clare, for a summer hike in support of Féileacáin, the national charity supporting families affected by the loss of a baby around the time of birth.

The team completed the 8km Blue Trail in just over two hours, enjoying a scenic route through forest paths and hilltop views. The day concluded with a team lunch in Bunratty, rounding off a meaningful and energising outing.

The initiative raised a total of €5,025, comprising €3,525 in online donations and a €1,500 contribution from Limerick Twenty Thirty. These funds will directly support Féileacáin’s work, which includes memory-making services, counselling, sibling support, and remembrance events for families across Ireland.

Founded by bereaved parents in 2009, Féileacáin is entirely community-funded and provides vital emotional and practical support to families navigating perinatal loss.

A sincere thank you goes to all LTT staff, their families, friends, LTT suppliers, and others who contributed so generously. The strong engagement across our network made this a truly successful and impactful event.

The cheque was formally presented to the charity at Gardens International, on July 3rd, 2025.
