Limerick Twenty Thirty (LTT)has today welcomed the decision by OpenChip to locate at Gardens International as further validation of the city and region’s attractiveness for inward investment.
The multi-award-winning Gardens International was the first development undertaken by Limerick Twenty Thirty, transforming a disused site into an architecturally acclaimed six-storey office that blends historic character with contemporary design and sets a new standard for the city and region. OpenChip will join eight other businesses at this landmark building.
Welcoming the announcement, Chair of Limerick Twenty James Collins said, “We are delighted to welcome OpenChip to Gardens International. Its decision to establish a new design centre at our flagship development is a strong endorsement of both Limerick’s growing reputation in advanced technologies and Limerick Twenty Thirty’s mission to drive city-centre regeneration.
Our vision has always been to create a vibrant, modern business hub in the heart of Limerick, and that ambition is now delivering tangible results. Gardens International continues to attract cutting-edge global employers, as evidenced by OpenChip’s decision to locate here.”
Said Limerick Twenty Thirty CEO Enda Power, “OpenChip could have chosen to locate in any number of cities across Europe, so its decision to choose Limerick and Gardens International is a powerful statement of confidence in what this city and region has to offer. It shows that Limerick can compete as a regional European city for high-value investment and jobs.
